Cracking on with the Canopy since arrived it  last Friday... shouldn’t say cracking should I !!    Grin
Anyway finial trimming and sanding this weekend so hoping to have it done ready for lay up's in a week or so.

This week not only have I installed the CHT / EGT probes and wiring also got the HS and elevators painted and are now at flying status just need attaching to the fuse when i take it to the airfield next year.

Really pleased with the quality of the paint work, it has transformed the HS ! I did all the prep and took it to a paint shop for the colour.
I am Having the Rudder custom painted in a few weeks and the Fuse will go early next year i have just got to decide what white to use ? so many whites available

Two full days planned in the shop for this weekend   Cheesy

Yep... well the HS any way, going for a white fuse and custom union Jack covering the tail fin and rudder
And possible thin red and blue stripes down the side towards the G -registration. Tongue

Funny, the comments I got when I said I was putting a Union Jack on the tail were "Why do you want to do that!?". When it was on everybody agreed it looks great.

We have a great looking flag, go for it.

Going to put one on the tail of my Great Lakes.... hopefully in the next few weeks!

If my company would pay for the paint work, I would wear the rising sun bandanna and fly it to Pearl Harbour!  Grin
