Hi Folks

Has anybody used/installed the Bob Snedaker wing root fairings on an RV 6 and if so whats the verdict?

I don't see a mod for them but I assume one is required.

Regards
Eugene

Thanks Mark

Suspected that a MOD would be required, didn't know about the aeros limitations.

Hi Mark

Was any reason given for the LAA not accepting the Snedaker fairings for aeros?

Hi Ian
The aerobatic documentation from the LAA that asks about wing root fairings type is the
LAA Form 181A/07
APPLICATION FOR AEROBATIC APPROVAL VANS RV6/ 6A, 7/7A

This is the form that you need to send to LAA to ask permission to commence flight test schedule for aerobatic  Clarence.

This document asks for specific "type"  of information relating to an number of pats  including wing root fairings I  would suggest that if these Bob Snedaker fairings are not of the approved by  a mod then the LAA will knock back your application until such time that a mod has been approved !
May be worth a call to Jon Viner at LAA engineering

Hope this helps

Mark
