Pressure from my son to get this off the ground!
28.07.2010 at 22:09:29

The last week couple of weeks before the paper work goes off to the LAA .. The wing tips and fairings go to the body shop for paint this weekend,  I have the flaps to set up and a couple of small items to do before I can do the weight and balance along with the fuel flow test.

My son is constantly bugging me  Angry    as expected... to get this off the ground. Not that I can blame him as he’s put lots of hours into the build as well ....

Nice...

Beat you into the air, though - first flight was a week ago.

However you will win the war as mine is unpainted and therefore about 4-6 weeks of solid work behind... Not looking forward to all the cleaning, scotchbrite and filling.

Back sanding the cowls  Shocked

Tried compounding to get rid of some overspray and it didn't work very well - more white going on today.

Wings, flaps, ailerons etc over at Breighton, fuselage painting next week.

7 in paint, 8 in planning.. Next one will be quicker, simpler, better. But they all say that, don't they ?

Less than £****  Mike  well worth it  Tongue

Any way the fuel test went well after you flew off into the blue last Sunday ..
I wasn't looking forward to it  Sad  Nigel Reddish  volunteered to sit behind the prop and collect the excess  Wink
Bit of a non event and got the numbers i wanted. One more thing off the List.

I did;    or so I thought have a fault on the p2 side of the intercom  embarrassed  So  I placed an order for a new one and today i  realised that I had fitted an insulation  washer on the headphone Jack  Roll Eyes     Dohhh removed it and now it all works !
