Two great days here at Sywell so far, and it's looking like day three will be a good one too.

From the awards last night - Congratulations to Bob Ellis, whose recently finished RV-8 took the trophies for best Kitbuilt Aircraft and best RV at this year's Rally. John Bone was commended in best RV for his RV-9.

Loads of superbly finished RV's attending this year - the turn-out has been great so far (and there is still one day to go).

Not an RV, but with a tin-connection, Mike Newall's brother Alistair won best plans built for the Falco he built with Neville Langrick.

Schoolboy error...!

Sunday was another good day, but the weather never really delivered conditions as good as the previous two days.

Great to meet RV people new and old.

I couldn’t make LAA Sywell this year,  can't complain I had three days away with the RV last week for the bmi fly in at Bidford and Goodwood.

However I heard that there were plenty of RV's at Sywell this year.... this was taken over Pitsford reservoir...  Which way to RW 21 ?     Grin
